Employers will require that their human resources specialist have at least a bachelor’s degree in business, administration, industrial relations, commerce, or psychology. It is especially important to have strong credentials and experience when self employed in this field in order to establish a strong reputation within the business community. Employers may also require that the human resources specialist have previous work experience in the field of administration or human resources.
